Notes: Inspection today due to complaint. Shock Chemicals added while children present in the pool.

PH in pool and spa are incredibly low leading to closure.

Inlets in pool are all bubbling - please check suction side of pump for damage or connection issues.

Please clean dirty vents for proper air circulation in the pool area.

  Item: The disinfectant and pH in the spa water shall be manually tested and documented each day within one-half hour of the spa opening and at least one other time throughout the day. Chlorine shall be between 2.0 & 8.0 and pH shall be between 7.0 & 7.8. If either of these levels are out of range, the spa shall be closed.
  Comment: Ensure testing is being done every 4 hours for the pool and every 2 hours for the spa. Test manually twice per day.

  Comment: Chemical room was cracked open while unoccupied. Please close and lock when not occupied.

These items must be corrected as soon as possible in order to comply with the Iowa Department of Public Health Swimming Pool and Spa Rules. A letter regarding the actions which will be taken in order to correct all deficiencies must be submitted within 30 days to this office. If for any reason you take issue with any of the items cited regarding swimming pool rules, a variance can be requested by following the instructions in the Iowa Department of Public Health Swimming Pools manual, amended July 8th, 2009, page 57, section 641-15.7 (135I). Variance requests regarding spa rules must be made in compliance with the instructions in the Iowa Department of Public Health Spa manual, revised July 8th, 2009, page 32, section 641-15.7 (135I).
