Tim is adding a few inches of fresh water to mitigate this. May need to add pH down or baking soda too.
Aim to keep chlorine and pH well below 8.0 & Cy Acid below 80.
If this is ever unattainable, close pool and take a water sample to a pool supply co for analysis/recommendations.
Also replace unreadable gauges.
