Notes: Routine inspection. Visited facility earlier this season due to a closure from the state pool inspector following a renovation of the pool. All items identified during that visit have been addressed except for those listed in this report and also the lights on the south side of the pool are still not functional and have been disconnected completely from the power source.

  Comment: Floats between shallow/wading section of pool and 4' depth are all bunched together at one end, space properly. Additionally, the float boundary between the deep end and the 5' section of the pool is located improperly. Should be located at the point where the depth begins to change - currently located past the point where the depth changes.
  Item: The boundary between shallow and deep water shall be marked by a float line with floats spaced no more than 5 ft. apart

These items must be corrected as soon as possible in order to comply with the Iowa Department of Public Health Swimming Pool and Spa Rules. A letter regarding the actions which will be taken in order to correct all deficiencies must be submitted within 30 days to this office. If for any reason you take issue with any of the items cited regarding swimming pool rules, a variance can be requested by following the instructions in the Iowa Department of Public Health Swimming Pools manual, amended July 8th, 2009, page 57, section 641-15.7 (135I). Variance requests regarding spa rules must be made in compliance with the instructions in the Iowa Department of Public Health Spa manual, revised July 8th, 2009, page 32, section 641-15.7 (135I).
