1) | Management/Personnel | Pool: | 15.4(2)e | 10 and 11 |
Spa: | 15.51(2)e | 11 and 12
Item: Manual tests are not being conducted as often as necessary
Comment: Must test calcium hardness at least monthly for both pool and spa. Some weeks missing weekly combined chlorine and Alkalinity. Must test as often as required.
2) | Water Quality | Pool: | 15.4(2)b | 10 |
Spa: | 15.51(2)b | 10 | ||
Item: The pH level of a spa / pool shall be 7.2 to 7.8
Comment: High combined chlorine. Need to backwash more frequently or shock chlorinate pool to reduce. REPEAT VIOLATION. Both pool and spa. Too much combined chlorine reduces disinfectant.
3) | Water Quality | Pool: | 15.4(2)b | 10 |
Spa: | 15.51(2)b | 10 | ||
Item: The pH level of a spa / pool shall be 7.2 to 7.8
Comment: Very low pH. If pH below 6.8, must close until back in acceptable range. Low pH can cause spa and pool erosion and rapid dissipation of chlorine in water. * Very low Alkalinity. Low alkalinity causes pool erosion. Test kit may be expired skewing results. Compared testing location and chemicals to my test kit. Some variation. CPO is conducting tests correctly.
4) | Showers/Toilets/Dressing Rooms | Pool: | 15.4(5)e | 23 |
Item: Soap shall be available at each lavatory and at each indoor shower fixture.
Comment: Provide soap near shower. Repeat violation.
