  Item: An indoor swimming pool or spa shall be enclosed by a barrier at least 3 ft. high if there are sleeping rooms, hallways, apartments, condominiums, or permanent recreation areas. No opening in the barrier shall permit the passage of a 4-inch sphere.

  Comment: Areas of the fencing has gaps where the mulch has worn away. All fencing must not be able to pass a 4" sphere. Repair as needed.

These items must be corrected as soon as possible in order to comply with the Iowa Department of Public Health Swimming Pool and Spa Rules. A letter regarding the actions which will be taken in order to correct all deficiencies must be submitted within 30 days to this office.
